ConceptDelivery
Phase 1
Discovery and solution design
Up to
5
days
$7,500 max
Confirm the dashboard's users, purpose and key use cases
Clarify the research, scoring, reporting and analytical
requirements
Define the dashboard structure, user journey and visual approach
Identify the main data, technical and integration requirements
What you walk away with
A solution design brief setting out who the dashboard serves,
what it needs to answer and how it will be structured
Phase 2
Interactive HTML prototype
Up to
9
days
$13,500 max
Develop an interactive prototype using sample or de-identified
data
Test different layouts, visualisations, navigation and
interactions
Gather feedback from Adrian, Marcel and NWU
Refine and agree the solution before progressing to Power BI
Approach and stakeholder fit, tested before live development
What you walk away with
A working, clickable prototype of the dashboard, agreed by
stakeholders as the blueprint for the Power BI build
Phase 3
Power BI design and build
Up to
10
days
$15,000 max
Use the approved prototype as the blueprint for the Power BI
version
Define the required pages, visualisations, calculations, filters
and permissions
Confirm the data requirements and any Power BI limitations
Build the dashboard or work alongside NWU's nominated stakeholder
What you walk away with
A built Power BI dashboard that mirrors the approved prototype
A build specification covering pages, visualisations,
calculations, filters and permissions
Phase 4
Implementation and testing
Up to
12
days
$18,000 max
Support implementation within NWU's Power BI environment
Review the build against the approved prototype
Refine the user experience and visualisations
Support stakeholder testing, user acceptance, training and
handover
Provide advice on data flow, integration and access requirements
where needed
What you walk away with
A live dashboard running in NWU's Power BI environment, tested
and accepted by its users
A handover pack covering training, user guidance and access
requirements
Investment
These are maximums, not fixed fees. You are billed only for the
days actually worked.
Up to 36 days
Ceiling across the four phases, not a committed spend
Up to $54,000
Excluding GST, at $1,500 per day worked

Every figure above is a ceiling. Each phase is invoiced on the days
actually worked, so if a phase is completed in fewer days than its
limit, NWU pays less and the balance is simply not charged. Unused
days are never billed and never assumed. We will not exceed a phase
limit without agreeing it with you in writing first. Phase 3 assumes
we build the dashboard in full, so if NWU's nominated developer leads
the build with us working alongside them, that phase reduces further.
